GOOGLE changed its logo on 1st september 2015.Just a month after unveiling that its restructuring the Google company,its changed its logo too. Believe me when i say,its awesome. Well l its google,so its gotta be awesome right?.The new google logo uses a sans-serif typeface.which looks a little modern and softer.It bears more resemblance to its parent, Alphabet company.
Google also changes its icon,the little g logo that shows at the browser's tab with a upper-case 'G' thats striped in all four of google's colors.Its already on the google homepage with a cute animation that wipes its previous logo and draws the new one using crayons.

Making the logo look good on smaller screens is the major consideration.The new logo is supposed to scale better in different screen sizes.According to google,the new logo is "only 305 bytes compared to its previous logo which was 14,000 bytes".
According to Tamar Yehoshua, VP,Product management and bobby nath,Director of user experience,
"Today we are introducing a new logoand identify family that reflects this reality and shows you when the google magic is working for you,even on the tiniest screens."
"This isnt the first time we have changed our look and it probably wont be the last, but we think today's update is a great reflection of all the ways Google works for you across Search,Maps,Gmail,Chrome and many others," adds Yehoshua.
We think we have taken the best of google(simple,uncluttered,colourful,friendly) and recast it not for just the Google of today,but for the google of future."
