Chrome OS and Android merging soon.




Alphabet Inc.'s Google is soon going to merge Chrome OS and Android mobile operating system.The Company plans to bring the new single operating system on 2017 but will be revealed next year.Android is the most dominant operating system now by a long stretch.So its a great move by  google to combine the two operating systems, which will require a great change,as it sets up Android to run on laptops and personal computers.It will also support the Google Play Store.It will also receive a new name but currently we are unclear about that. Google is expected to clear our doubt by the Google I/O 2016.(And we definitely hope Google does it.)



While, this is a surprising yet major move,Chromebooks have been fairly successful considering its low price computer system. Sundar pichai,the current CEO of the google,who was also put charge of both the Android and Chrome OS two years ago.That includes adding support for Android apps inside of Chrome OS.Though the support of Android apps is now limited on the Chromebook right now. 

However, A Google spokesman has confirmed that both Android and Chrome OS will continue to exist independently.
